Santa and Mrs. Claus Brunch Fundraiser (admission fees apply - purchase tickets today)

Held at Northport Public School, tickets for this special breakfast are available online.  Enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet and get photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus as they visit table to table.  All proceeds go to fund the Northport Tree Lighting Activities.  Tickets available to purchase here.

Tour the Lighthouse (admission fees apply)

Held at the Grand Traverse Lighthouse, enjoy the beauty and history of the iconic lighthouse and tour the restored keepers dwelling and climb the Lighthouse Tower for a magnificent view of Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay. Gingerbread House Competition

Displayed in the Pennington Collection window, come, view and vote on gingerbread creations from local bakeries and home bakers alike.  Winners will be selected by public vote and announced at 6pm at the Tree Lighting and will receive a trophy and the glory of the best baker this holiday season.  All voters will automatically be entered to win prizes from local businesses.

*please note that the Gingerbread Competition will also be on display after  December 7 at Around the Corner Food and Fun

Cookie and Gingerbread House Decorating

Held at the Northport Creek Golf Clubhouse, enjoy this free event where kids and adults alike can create their own edible masterpieces.

Held at Barb's Bakery this festive, free cookie-decorating event that’s sure to spark holiday cheer! Roll up your sleeves and let your creativity shine as you design delicious treats worthy of Santa himself—then enjoy every sweet bite. Fun for families, friends, and cookie lovers of all ages. Letters to Santa, Kids Holiday Crafts and Storytime

Held at the Leelanau Township Library, enjoy this free event where kids of all ages can write and mail letters to Santa and cozy up for a festive story or two.  Visit their web site for more information here.

Held at the Northport Arts Association, Willowbrook Mill, and Skye House, come out and support local artists and find unique one-of-a-kind Holiday gifts for your loved ones!  Visit their web site for more information here.

Held in Northport, enjoy this free event where kids and adults alike can create their own holiday wreaths to take home.

Deck the Lanes

Held at Northport Pub & Grille, bring all your elves to the bowling lane, strike up some holiday cheer, and see if you can sleigh the competition.  Fees apply, see web site or call the business for the most up to date pricing.

Soup Cook-Off

Held at Faro, enjoy this free tasting where Northport and Omena restaurants show off their best soups for victory. Winners will be selected by public vote and announced at 6pm at the Tree Lighting and will receive a trophy and the glory of the best soup in Northport this holiday season.  All voters will automatically be entered to win prizes from local businesses.

Swim 'n Soak

Take a dip in the pool, or cozy up in the hot tub at the Northport Highlands Pool.  Locker rooms available for showering and changing. $5/person, children 0-2 free.

Embroidery

Held at Dolls 'n More, enjoy this ticketed event where kids and adults alike can create their own special embroidery to take home.  $5 tickets available by stopping in at Dolls n More during their regular business hours, or on the day of.

Meet Santa's Reindeer

Hot Cocoa & Cookie Fundraiser

Swing by the Hot Cocoa and Cookie fundraiser by The Mitten fireplace, to keep warm on your wagon rides.  All proceeds go to the Village of Northport Tree Lighting Fund.

Horse-drawn Carriage Rides

Starting from the Northport Tree, enjoy a free horse-drawn wagon ride through town, led by Clydesdale horses.

Held at Find North, bring your bushy beards or use one of the fun options provided  for a competition of the best!  Decorating from 4-4:30pm and the competition around 4:30pm!

Winter Spirits & Live DJ

Bring your holiday cheer to Fingers Crossed and enjoy a creatively curated beverage starting at noon, with a DJ filling the snowy air starting at 9pm after the tree is glowing.
